Strand is 100% New Zealand made from renewable pine forests and are built to last in harsh conditions.
Made from renewable pine radiata, both Strandboard and Strandfloor are manufactured using pMDi resin which results in exceptionally low formaldehyde emissions (E0). The use of these products can help accrue points in the New Zealand Green Building Council Green Star and Homestar tools.
Laminex New Zealand was also the first company in Australasia to have a product - Strandfloor - listed as 'Red List Free' in the Declare database. Considered the 'nutrition label' for the industry, the Declare label offers unprecedented transparency in the ingredients, sourcing and manufacturing of labelled products. Leading on from the success of certifying Strandfloor, Strandboard is now also certified as 'Red List Free'.
